Are you in the situation where you have invested significant capital funds to implement videoconferencing on your Corporate Wide-Area-Network, with less than satisfactory results?
Most suppliers of videoconferencing hardware, by their own admission, lack the networking knowledge [in an IP environment] to assist in deploying an efficient, reliable solution.
Through our partnership with IP V Gateways Inc., Telecom Specialists for the Videoconference Industry, we can help you if you are experiencing any of the following issues:
• Low Quality Video and Audio • Inconsistent connectivity to legacy ISDN end-points • Launching multi-point video sessions • Connectivity to external IP end-points • External end-points trying to connect to you, either IP or ISDN • Generally, the user experience has not met the expectations of Management
Customers requiring live, managed web presentation and production services rely on the Telemerge VIRTUALwebevent platform, delivering a highly advanced and flexible set of applications that produce industry leading live or archived web presentations. VIRTUALwebevent seamlessly integrates audio and/or video presentations with applications such as audience registration, polling, slideshow integration, question submission, and user reports.
The Telemerge Converged VPN, either Hybrid or MPLS, is the comprehensive solution for enterprise network requirements. This bandwidth-managed service can connect multiple off-site locations while also converging voice, video, and data onto one network at required performance levels. It is a network-based solution that is intelligent, understanding the varying needs and performance parameters for different types of traffic.
In addition to the performance benefits, our routing technology also enables Telemerge to create separate label switched paths reserved for performance sensitive applications, like Video or Voice over IP (VoIP). By prioritizing different types of traffic on your customer premise routers and across our converged network, we can engineer a solution to converge all of your applications without compromising performance. This means you no longer have to incur the costs of deploying and managing separate networks for each application - all of your voice and data communications share a single, cost-effective WAN infrastructure. Additionally, Telemerge has the ability to integrate our VIRTUALvideo™ service into the WAN infrastructure, which is an entirely unique service offering. With Telemerge, you get a company focused on making your service experience the strongest in the telecommunications industry. Our industry-leading Service Level Agreement (SLA) and proven track record of caring for our customers make Telemerge the network of choice for leading businesses around the globe.

HD/SD - High Definition/Standard Definition Important to Know Deploying high quality, reliable videoconferencing within an organization is as much about predictable network connectivity, as it is about sourcing the right equipment. Too many organizations have invested heavily in videoconferencing equipment, with high expectations of quality, and subsequent disappointment. Whether Standard Definition (SD), High Definition (HD), or Telepresence, real-time video is not just a plug “n” play environment. Telemerge’s approach is distinctly different, we design the solution from the network out. Whether you require assistance to deploy video within your Corporate wide-area-network (WAN), or favour a private videoconferencing environment, the Telemerge engineering team have unique experience in providing flawless well executed video solutions. • High Resolution has nearly 10X the resolution of Standard Definition with up to 40% more viewing area, and truly makes the viewing experience more personal. • Equipment pricing between SD and HD is now so close that HD deployment now exceeds SD. • Both SD and HD have the ability to display content from a lap-top during a videoconferencing session. • Telemerge can stream (Webcast) the video and content to be viewed on-line. Standard Definition (SD) Videoconferencing Quick Facts on SD • Low resolution 4X3 aspect • 101,376 pixels High Definition (HD) Videoconferencing Quick Facts on HD • High Resolution 16X9 aspect • 921,600 pixels
Return on Environment (ROE) A new global survey released by Hill & Knowlton Inc. finds: • 82 percent of senior technology leaders closely monitor the issue of global warming, 65 percent do not have a defined energy strategy. • 77 percent of business decision makers believe there is a need to expand the "c-suite" to include a chief energy officer (CNO) to manage, implement and measure a company's return on investment in environmental (ROE) technology. • Reputation, risk and return will suffer until companies really stand up and take charge and industry as a whole sets the standard for measuring return on environment (ROE). • 52 percent of survey respondents identified improved corporate reputation as the most important return on investment for environmental programs. Actual carbon emission reduction was the most important metric to 38 percent of respondents globally. Actual Carbon Emission Reduction As a Global Videoconferencing Service Provider, Telemerge has the ability, through sophisticated software, to predict carbon emission reduction. Typically, the evaluation for deploying videoconferencing in an organization has been through the Return on Investment (ROI) process. Now, Telemerge can add significant value to the decision making process by providing Return on Environment (ROE) data. ROE Certification Telemerge will provide a formal ROE Certificate to clients that specifically states the impact of their Corporate Videoconferencing environment on the reduction of carbon emissions.
Telepresence uses High Definition (HD) resolution in a multi-screen environment, state-of-the-art audio, acoustics and lighting, to “immerse” the participants in a lifelike videoconferencing session. This technology is highly impressive, eye to eye contact in a group session is amazingly real, and the spatial audio causes heads to turn, almost unconsciously to face the speaker.
Telepresence is principally designed for Executives, Board of Directors and subject matter experts, as a true productivity tool, greatly reducing traveling costs, and endorsing senior management’s Corporate responsibility towards reducing emissions and their carbon footprint.
We highly recommend that senior management experience one of our Telepresence facilities.
